The
Punisher is an American web series created by Steve Lightfoot. It tells the
story of Frank Castle, a former US soldier who lives in New York City and takes
revenge on the people who killed his family; however, he realizes that behind
the death of his loved ones there is a bigger conspiracy than he thinks.
The
story really begins in the Netflix and Marvel series: Daredevil, in its second
season. Frank tries to kill all the organizations and people who were involved
in his family's murder, but Daredevil, aka the Red Devil of Hell's Kitchen,
won't let him finish. In the end they manage to solve their indifferences and
defeat their enemies. After the great success of the Marvel character, Marvel
decides to make a complete series of this character, such as Daredevil's spin
off.
Its
first season focuses on a Frank Castle determined to kill everyone he never
thought would be involved in the murder of his family, including revealing a
whole conspiracy in the US Army. He is, as his name implies, an impeccable
punisher who will seek to assassinate all the bad guys who are in his way.
In
the second and final season, Frank, after having settled his personal accounts
and living a quiet life, decides to help a girl named Amy Bendix, who someone
wants to kill. Castle relives his life as The Punisher.
The Punisher is a series that will always keep you in suspense and full of desire to continue watching episode after episode.
